Vidhatri Vedic Wellness (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is dedicated to keeping your personal data secure. This Privacy Policy details how we handle the information you provide when using our website https://www.vidhatrivedicwellness.com/ in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

1. Data We Collect and Purpose Limitation
We only collect specific, minimal data points that you choose to submit to help us coordinate your wellness journey:

  • Full Name: To address you accurately.
  • Phone Number & Email Address: Used to coordinate session timings, reply to your wellness questions, or chat with you via phone call or WhatsApp.
  • Newsletter Subscriptions (Email): Used exclusively to send you wellness updates when you choose to subscribe.
  • Technical Performance Data (Google Analytics 4): Our site runs Google Analytics to track general metrics (like device type, page visit volume, and location coordinates). This data is entirely anonymized and cannot identify you personally.

In accordance with Section 5 of the DPDP Act, this notice can be requested in English or any of the 22 official regional languages of India (such as Tamil).

2. Explicit, Unbundled Consent
We process your details exclusively when you give us clear consent. By filling out our contact forms, checking the newsletter box, or initiating a message on our linked WhatsApp or social handles, you consent to our processing your data solely for that communication loop.

3. Third-Party Ecosystem & Security
We value your trust and never sell or trade your contact logs. To manage day-to-day operations, your data interacts securely with:

  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp): When you choose to chat with us, messages are securely delivered via Meta’s communication ecosystem.
  • Google LLC (Analytics): Google serves as our analytics data processor. You can completely opt out of this tracking by downloading the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Data Retention & Your Rights as a Data Principal
We do not retain your data indefinitely. If you make an inquiry but do not book a treatment at our center, your contact details are deleted after 90 days. Under Indian law, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access & Correction: You can request to see what details we hold or correct inaccuracies.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can ask us to completely wipe your web lead record from our databases at any time.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You can tell us to stop contacting you via phone or WhatsApp as easily as you signed up.

To enforce any of these rights, simply reach out to our Grievance Officer.

5. Security Safeguards
We implement necessary physical and digital security controls (including SSL site encryption) to safeguard your inbound contact entries from leaks, data loss, or unauthorized viewing.

6. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Pursuant to the DPDP Act framework, we have designated a Grievance Officer to resolve any data privacy questions or deletion requests:

  • Name of Grievance Officer: Sabarish Vasudevan
  • Designation: Managing Partner
  • Email Address: contact@vidhatrivedicwellness.com
  • Mailing Address: No 26/80, 5th Street, Luz Avenue, Mylapore, Chennai – 600004

Critical Website Layout Tips for Vidhatri:
1.The Consent Checkbox: On your contact form, add this un-ticked text right before the submit button:

  • " [ ] I consent to Vidhatri Vedic Wellness contacting me via call, email, or WhatsApp to process my inquiry as detailed in the Privacy Policy."

2.Newsletter Box Separation: If you have a separate "Subscribe to Newsletter" box, it must be its own distinct checkbox. You cannot auto-subscribe someone to marketing emails just because they filled out a form to ask a question about therapy sessions.
